Working as a Corporate Communications Intern at Definity Financial Corp was my first real experience in a corporate marketing environment, giving me clear insight into how branding, messaging, and media are shaped not just creatively, but also through data and performance. In the role, I learned to balance creativity with structure - thinking critically about how to promote a national brand while authentically reflecting the people and culture behind it. Through work on internal communications, social media analytics, and campaign support, I contributed to content and initiatives that strengthened and supported the national brand.

Co-op Media

Short-form video content capturing key Definity company events through the lens of a co-op student. Designed to showcase the co-op experience through fun, engaging, and platform-optimized storytelling. The featured content includes a volunteer day feature, a trendy “Day in the Life” vlog, and a company social recap. These videos emphasize authentic employer branding, culture-driven narratives, and audience engagement. All media is published and can be found on Definity’s LinkedIn channel.
